While we can’t promise palm trees and Florida sunshine, Angus has some great scenery to offer and some brilliant places to visit!
Enquiries about our trike tours are increasing so we thought a quick Q and A, together with some photos of those who have had a tour with us, might be interesting!
Q Can I drive the trike myself?
A No, all our tours are chauffeur-driven.
Q How much is a tour?
A Tours are charged by the hour, and for 2023 the price is £130 per hour for either one or two people. This includes the trike with driver, and we also provide helmets, jackets and gloves if required.
Q Where do you go?
A This depends on how long you would like to be out! We do have preplanned routes around Angus, which can include a visit to (for example,) a castle or distillery. However, if there is somewhere special you would like to go then just talk to us when you book and we will make every effort to do exactly what you have in mind! We can even take you to to somewhere beautiful for a picnic lunch – think out of the box……
Q Can you pick me up at home?
A As long as your tour has been booked through us at Crosshill Garage (by phone, email or in person,) we can pick you up at another location, but the time you pay for will start and end at our premises. We will need to know your size, as we will bring your helmets, jackets and gloves with us, rather than you being able to try on the different sizes we have at Crosshill.
Q How many people can come on a tour?
A We have two touring trikes and each trike can take two people, so we can take a group of four people at any one time.
Q Is there an age limit?
A Passengers need to be at least 12 years old and at least 4′ 5″ or 135cm tall. Please see our website for maximum weight limits. There is no upper age limit – as long as you can get on the trike and our driver is happy, we welcome all adults and all abilities!
