This month has been and continues to be pretty busy and we are grateful as always to the team – Kelly organising the Snack Bar and welcoming customers for tours, Dave supporting us with trike collections/deliveries , technical advice and doing trike tours, and Drew from Two Wheel Pristine keeping the trikes looking immaculate!

Last week went as follows:

Wednesday – Angus had booked a trike tour as a 12th anniversary surprise for his wife. He had asked for one of our two hour tours to Arbikie Distillery, and we were happy to oblige! He emailed us afterwards saying “Thank you all so much again for a brilliant afternoon out! We both really enjoyed ourselves. We can definitely recommend yourselves.” Later that day, new customer Rad from Fife came to pick up a beautiful Boom trike he had seen on our website. Last week he put a deposit on it and we had it serviced and MOTd, and he couldn’t wait to pay the balance and drive it away! A great customer – happy triking Rad!

Thursday – 5.45am start for Gordon who, with our support driver (also confusingly called Gordon!) took our trailer to Edinburgh. There they collected a handsome and unusual Suzuki Intruder Rewaco conversion from our customer Anne, who had regretfully decided it was time to sell. The two Gordons took it down to The Trike Guy in Derbyshire, and picked up a stunning Rewaco HS5 which they brought back to Brechin. Thanks to plentiful roadworks (grr) Gordon finally arrived back in Brechin just after midnight.

Friday – Gordon went to Monikie to collect a Rewaco RF1 GT which needed a new throttle. The owner, Rab, bought this stunning trike from us in June last year, and was one of our first customers! Back to Brechin, where our  afternoon was spent filming in the company of Dylan Drummond, independent videographer. Dylan is compiling a marketing video for Tay Country Travel Trade, and we were happy to take part, The film will be used by the UK and overseas travel trade to promote this beautiful area and what it can offer to visitors. Thanks Dylan!

Saturday – Final clean and polish to the Rewaco HS5 we collected earlier in the week. Damien from Kirkaldy had given us his budget and his requirements, and we had been able to source this trike for him from The Trike Guy. After a full repaint, service and MOT, it was ready for Damien to collect. As it was his first trike, we were happy to spend time showing him the ropes, and after some practice in our yard, he drove the trike home. Respect!

Social media is something we try to do most days, and today’s post was to welcome everyone to come to us on Wednesday evening. The Scottish Classic Motorcycle Club will be holding a meet here, and we are happy to open up from 7pm for these classic machines and the enthusiasts who love and maintain them.

Sunday – We open on Sunday afternoons after church, and this afternoon we were happy to welcome Doug, an ex-biker whose family had given him a gift voucher for an hour’s trike tour! Dave took him through some of the beautiful Angus countryside and we are pleased to report that Doug thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Later that day Rab collected his trike, duly repaired, and had some coffee and banter before driving home!

Ellie finished our flyers for next week’s Thunder in the Glens rally, and was able to spend time chatting with customers calling in for coffee and snacks – or just a look around at our trikes, both new and pre-owned. She says this is the best part of the job!

We hope this has given you a flavour of life at Rewaco Trikes Scotland. Never boring! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram – and call in to see us in Brechin. The coffee’s always on!
