We try and have Mondays and Tuesdays off, but this week we couldn’t resist an invitation from one of Angus’ up-and-coming businesses – Angus Alchemy!
Sparking up our old Boom trike we headed along the A92 – and 10 minutes outside of Dundee we were there. Maybe not the largest distillery in the world, but quirky – a bit like trikes really! Angus Alchemy aims to shake up our traditional idea of a what it looks and feels like to be a distillery, and to create a visitor experience unlike any you’ll find elsewhere in Scotland.
And having seen it and sampled it(!) we are proud to join up with them: one new Scottish business supporting another to offer you an amazing couple of hours!
Start with a chauffeur-driven trike ride from our premises in Brechin, through the Angus countryside, to Angus Alchemy. There you will have a welcome drink, and be taken on a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery– quite literally where the magic happens. You will be offered 4 of their latest flavour explosions: you are guaranteed to learn a bit, enjoy a lot, and maybe find a new favourite tipple….
